Lake Bled in Winter

Famous for it's stunning lake, Bled is an attractive location throughout the year. It has a sub-alpine climate because it is protected from the north winds by the Karavanke and Julian Alps.

There are excellent sports opportunities throughout the area especially for walking, cycling, golf, swimming and fishing. In Winter there is cross country skiing with 20km of tracks close to Bled and a further 60km at nearby Pokljuka.
