Lake Bled in Winter
Famous for it's
stunning lake, Bled is an attractive location throughout the year. It
has a sub-alpine climate because it is protected from the north winds by
the Karavanken and Julian Alps.

Lake Bled in Summer
There are
excellent sports opportunities throughout the area especially for
walking, cycling, golf, swimming and fishing. In Winter there is cross
country skiing with 20km of tracks close to Bled and a further 60km at
nearby Pokljuka.

Kranjska Gora
Set in the
Zgornjesavska valley, Kranjska Gora is famous as a winter resort with
both downhill and cross country skiing. It has a full range of skiing to
suit all standards with 6 chair lifts and 12 drag lifts.
